All the Gospel to All the World

Trip Of A Lifetime

“Being open….”

What an amazing first day here in Israel. After the long 10.5 hour flight, checks, customs and all the jib jab: To be where the Bible was formed and written amazes me. We took a five hour drive from Tel Viv to Elat and we are only 10 minutes from the Red Sea where Moses took the people from egypt and deliver them from Evil. What amazes me is how we can sometimes take the Bible for granted and never realized the impact it could have on your life.

Point: Be open to what God has in store for you and not what you have in store for God. Moses was open to whatever God had for Him and He carried through with the mission and was successful. You never know what can happen when you open your heart up to Christ. Maybe you can save a nation one day?

Peace from the middle east!

“At the end of the day, I wanna hear people say
My heart looks like Your heart, my heart looks like Your heart
When the world looks at me, let them agree
That my heart looks like Your heart, my heart looks like Your heart”
— Chris Tomlin-“Your Heart”
“And it’s simply staggering that God would ordain, now get this, that God, the sovereign ruler of the universe would ordain that prayers cause things. They do. Prayers cause things to happen that would not happen if you didn’t pray.

I wonder if any Calvinists out there are squirming?”

It Never Fails—“Nothing Ever Goes Right”

How many times during the week does something go wrong? Your Car breaks down, you loose your keys, or you forget something at home on your way to school. I know, for me, it happens all the time. We tend to get frustrated because nothing ever seems to go right when we need it to go right. It seems no matter what we do, something will go wrong and we can’t help it. It makes us want to give up. Should we give up? NO!

Here is what we should realize: 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 states: “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” This scripture assures us we will not be completely destroyed when bad things happen. If we stand on this passage, we will have a successful formula that will help us to overcome the devil and the tricks he may play on us. Though we may falter, God will always be there to pick us up and bring us to the place where he wants us to be!

Though people may always tell us that we have failed, God never will!

“Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that’s knowledge. It’s in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it’s all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!”
